それは、サン=テグジュペリの『星の王子さま』の中にトルコの天文学者が小惑星の発見について、トルコ風から西洋風に洋服を着替えて、二度目に国際会議に臨んだら受け入れられたという『星の王子さま』の「服装改め」に合わせてて書かれていました。

『星の王子さま』は、飛行機乗りの大好きなサン=テグジュペリが、「目に見えないもの」と「子供の心」を大事にすることを絵と簡単な文で子どもの物語として書いたものでした。

The piece drew a parallel with The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry: in the story, a Turkish astronomer discovered a small asteroid, but when he presented his findings in Turkish dress, he was ignored; only after donning Western attire and presenting again was he accepted.

The Little Prince, written by Saint-Exupéry, a passionate aviator, is a children’s tale told with simple words and illustrations. At its heart, it emphasizes cherishing “what is invisible to the eye” and preserving “the heart of a child.”
